R. W. Beck to Speak at Storage Week

DENVER (July 2, 2009) – R. W. Beck Senior Director Ruben Moreno will present "The Comparative Value of Grid-scale Energy Storage Assets" at Infocast’s Storage Week 2009 from July 13th to 16th in La Jolla, Cali.


"In today’s current market, there are a lot of questions regarding which grid-scale technology currently has the best marginal return and what are the main drivers of the comparative value," Moreno said.


Moreno’s presentation will compare four popular grid-scale energy storage assets based on the incremental contribution (measured in $/MW equivalent) in the Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland market. He will provide insight into flywheel, hydro, battery and compressed air energy storage.
