The drive to develop clean, renewable fuel sources has escalated worldwide in the face of rising gasoline and energy prices, heightened environmental awareness and concerns about energy security. Governments in Asia, Europe and the Americas are enacting targeted and mandatory guidelines for blending of ethanol fuels as well as providing tax incentives for the development of biofuel projects.

Having provided renewable technologies support services to clients since the 1980s, R. W. In our ongoing assistance to the DOE, we have evaluated applications for Biorefinery Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOA) for both commerical-scale (Solicitation 932) and 10 percent deomnstration-scale (Solicitation 942) facilities.
